Softwood
MATERIAL : What we have chosen to name here as “softwood” actually describes a potential mixture of two softwood species from the North SCOTS PINE and SPRUCE.
QUALITY DESCRIPTION
| Quality CP : With this quality the surface exhibits sound knots of a diameter of maximum 35mm, and falling knots with a diameter of maximum 6mm, as well as cracks with a maximum size of 3mm. Repaired surface (with wood pegs) and sanded. |

| Quality C : Surface may exhibits sound knots and falling knots of a diameter of maximum 35mm, (for a maximum ratio of 25%) , and cracks with a maximum size of 12mm |

| Quality C+ : Improved version of quality C. Sanded |
| Quality III : This quality allows for sound knots of a diameter of maximum 60mm, and falling knots with a diameter of maximum 40mm. Defaults and cracks with a maximum size of 15mm. |
