COMBI plywood has the distinction of being composed of two different species of wood: The first material – economic – is used to form the inner frame of the panel. The second material – more noble – is used for the exterior cladding of the panel (front-face and underside of the surface). Depending on the technical characteristics required, the core of the panel will be composed of Poplar (450 kg / m3), Eucalyptus (650 kg / m3) or Birch (700 kg / m3) – in the respective order from the most economical material to the most qualitative material. The outer surfaces may be selected for their aesthetic appearance, the selection may be made from a number of species of wood: however mainly red exotic lumber is used, for example Sapelli. Stable, homogeneous, light, easy to be machined, COMBI plywood has many qualities that enable their use in various fields of application, both structural (CE 2+) and visual. The veneer siding and underside of the surface are usually a red exotic wood which gives these panels their aesthetic appearance. Chinese factories are very flexible.
